The most challenging aspect of this renovation was addressing the 6" slope over a 16' area which required the removal of all existing floors to build up floor joists to level. Then reclaimed maple from a gym floor was refinished to the original specifications of this 1920"s condo.

Another challenge was duplicating the 1920"s custom molding and architecture which required hand crafted workmanship to integrate the new materials into the existing style. The result is a perfect match; the integrity of the architecture remains intact.

 While the room may have an old-world feel but the appliances are all modern featuring a high-tech all in one Washer/ Dryer. Additionally, all the appliance installations were reconfigured which required retrofitting original plumbing & electrical to current standards.

 Attention to detail meant maintaining architecture integrity utilizing materials such as Subway Tile Backsplash and custom period style Lighting.
